Spoiling a Championship Season.

We love spoiling everyone else’s fun, but particularly Georgia Tech’s.

In 2009, Georgia was not a great team. We were in the dark time in Georgia Bulldog football history while Georgia Tech was on a roll.

The Yellow Jackets beat Clemson in the ACC Championship game to be that’s year’s conference champion (later vacated by the NCAA for violations). However, there was a game played the weekend before in Atlanta that put a hamper on that season. See, we waltzed into Bobby Dodd and rained on their parade, beating them 30-24, and spoiling any thoughts the nerds might have of competing in the BCS National Championship game.

Instead, they got whipped in the Orange Bowl by the Iowa Hawkeyes.
