No news, no speculation, no bashing or defending of coaches in this post. Just a bit of holiday cheer for all the Bulldog Nation.
We asked you what some of your holiday wishes were in relation to UGA athletics, and the responses we got were quite the mixed bag. Everything from warmth to humor, and (unfortunately) a little bit of bitterness.
We’ll start with our staff:
Photo: Michael Collins, DawnOfTheDawg.com
Richard Gnann (@DawnDawgHoops) : I wish for…
A win over Tech…the next time, and every time
An NCAA bid and and Jaylen Brown signing for the basketball team
An indoor track for Coach Norton and the track and field Dawgs
Did I mention a win over Tech?
Krisi Cooper (@LudaKrisi) : I wish for all players to stay injury-free.
Brad Hodnett (@DawgOnTap) : I wish for our administration to spend money in relation to how much the program makes.
Mandy Edwards (@memktgservices) : I wish we would hire a special teams coach that knows when to kick it deep and when to squib kick it.
Sravanthi Meka (@SouthernSquared) : I wish for a butt-kicking of Grantham’s defense to prove it was the right thing for him to leave.
Michael Collins (@GaSportsCraze) : I wish the Richt-hating trolls would go back under their bridges.
And some of our readers chimed in as well:
learn to kick it deep w/ a lead & 18 seconds? RT @GaSportsCraze: Bulldog Nation-Tweet us ur biggest holiday wish relating to UGA athletics!

Obviously I’m not getting my wish based on the above tweet. But…Krisi to the rescue!
@Dawgfan @DawnOfTheDawg NOOOOO:(

But all kidding aside, from everyone here at Dawn of the Dawg, we wish you all a very happy holiday season, however you choose to celebrate. We love our Dawgs, we love our readers (even the trolls), and we love being a part of the Bulldog Nation.
