Belk Bowl 2014: Georgia vs. Louisville Live Game Thread

facebooktwitterreddit

It’s time for the 2014 Belk Bowl, featuring the Georgia Bulldogs and Louisville Cardinals.

Welcome to the live game thread for the Georgia Bulldogs 2014 bowl game, the Belk Bowl from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte N.C., where the Dawgs will be facing a new ACC enemy, the Louisville Cardinals.

More from Georgia Football

We do this every game to connect with the Bulldog Nation and share thoughts and observations (and hopefully not too many frustrations) during the game.

Georgia is looking to pick up their 10th win of the season, after suffering disappointing losses to South Carolina, Florida and Georgia Tech this season. The Belk Bowl isn’t exactly what the Bulldogs had in mind, but there’s a chance for some extra redemption here.

The Cardinals are coached by Bobby Petrino, who isn’t going to win any Man of the Year contests with anyone from Georgia, and the defense is coached by former UGA defensive coordinator, Todd Grantham. Yeah…there’s some motivation there.

For those of us not lucky enough to be among the Bulldog Nation at Bank of America Stadium, we can all interact as the game progresses right here.

Just join in below in the comments section at the bottom of this post, and let us know what you think about the game as it happens, and we’ll be here to respond and chat with you.

It’s the Bulldogs and the Cardinals, at 6:30 today.

Pregame questions (comment below):

  • What will be the X-factor in today’s game?
  • Do you see Richt and his staff going with multiple quarterbacks against a tough Louisville defense?
  • Can Nick Chubb put up his eighth consecutive 100-yard game?
  • Does Grantham’s time with Georgia give Louisville any advantage?
  • Who will be the top UGA receiver in today’s game?

We’ll be signed on and ready to go right before kickoff. Join us today.
