No. 10 – Lorenzo Phillips, Outside Linebacker

Phillips is a 4-star linebacker out of East Mississippi Community College, and is a top JUCO prospect at his position.

247 Sports has Phillips rated as the No. 1 JUCO OLB prospect in the nation, and the No. 17 overall JUCO player.

At the moment, Phillips has offers from Georgia, Alabama and Texas A&M, with Georgia defensive assistant Kevin Sherrer handling his recruitment for the Bulldogs.

Originally signing with LSU in 2012 until he ran into eligibility issues, Phillips was a highly recruited linebacker coming out of Patterson, La. (Patterson, H.S.).

Likelihood of Commitment to Georgia – Hard to say right now, as he’s taken official visits to all three schools who have offered him, with Alabama being the most recent this past October. Signs are he’s leaning towards UGA, but this is still anyone’s guess.
