Patrick Allen, Offensive Guard

City/School: Reisterstown, Md./Franklin H.S.
Rating: 4-star
Rankings: State – No. 4, Position – No. 18, National – No. 213
Status: Uncommitted
Top Choices: Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan

Allen has already committed to and then de-committed from Georgia. After his original primary recruiter from Georgia, Will Friend, left for Colorado State with Mike Bobo, Allen took a step back and reopened his commitment.

He’s a big strong guard, coming in a 6’5 and 286 pounds. He would certainly be a welcome addition to a Georgia offensive line that will be losing some key members after this season.

Since de-committing from the Bulldogs, Allen has had two coach’s visits from the Georgia staff, including new offensive line coach Rob Sale. All indications are that those meeting went extremely well. He’s also had a visit from the Tennessee staff, and right now it looks to be between the Dawgs and Vols to land Allen.

The general thought is that Allen wanted to wait and see what happened with Georgia’s staff. Most feel he’s solidly with the Bulldogs.

Georgia’s Chance: 70%
