National Signing Day 2015: DT Trent Thompson Signs LOI to Georgia
5-star defensive tackle Trent Thompson has signed his letter of intent to play football for the Georgia Bulldogs.

One of Georgia’s top commits, defensive tackle Trent Thompson has now made it official, he will be a Georgia Bulldog in the fall.
Thompson is a 5-star prospect out of Albany, Ga. and is the number one player at his position in the nation, as well as being the number one overall player in the state of Georgia, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.
This is one of the commits Mark Richt couldn’t let get away, and he’ll be an impact player almost immediately for the Bulldogs. The Georgia defensive line may end up being the best in the nation depending on how things pan out during the rest of the day.
A huge signing for the Bulldogs takes some of the sting out of the several de-commits that have taken place over the past few weeks. The Bulldog nation can breathe easier for a few minutes.
