Georgia football hopes to keep running wild in 2015 and beyond (Video)

1. B.J. Emmons
B.J. Emmons (5’11, 213) out of Morganton, NC, is a 247sports.com 4-Star running back and is classified as a soft commit to the Bulldogs at the moment. There is no question that Emmons would be a great addition for the Dawgs’ backfield in 2016.
This can be seen in that Emmons rushed the ball 196 times for 2,360 yards and 38 touchdowns in his junior year. He is listed as the 8th overall running back and the 4th overall prospect in the state of North Carolina in the 2016 class per 247Sports.com Composite Rankings.
Emmons is a raw runner with excellent vision, speed, and agility. He has a very physical style of running and this could be classified as a characteristic that gels well with Georgia given the similar running styles of Todd Gurley and Nick Chubb.
The recent addition of Thomas Brown, who became the Bulldog running backs coach after coming back “home” only a short time ago, could help in making sure that Emmons sticks with his commitment to the Bulldogs. Brown recruited Emmons as a back as a coach at the University of Wisconsin.
Emmons has also received offers from other powerhouse schools such as Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia Tech. Let’s hope he sticks with the “G” and chooses to bring his talents to the “Classic City” following his senior year.
