Say what you want about the lack of national championships under Mark Richt, the one thing he has done is to bring some of the best talent in the nation to Athens, proven by the huge Georgia contingent in the NFL ranks.
Georgia’s recruiting classes have remained in the Top 10 under Richt, and some of those players went on to have incredible (although at times brief) careers playing Between the Hedges, and then in the professional ranks.
So if you were going to put together an “All-Madden” type team, based on those who have played for Richt, who would be on the All-Richt team? Some positions are fairly easy to decide, while others (like running back) could be chosen from any number of players.
Here’s a list of All-Richt players, two for each skill position, and then two offensive and defensive linemen, two from the secondary, as well as a kicker and punter.
