Wide Receivers – A.J. Green (2008-2010), Mohamed Massaquoi (2005-2008)

Georgia’s wide receivers go unheralded at times, but that certainly wasn’t the case for either A.J. Green or Mohamed Massaquoi.

Both players broke out early in their freshman seasons and made their mark, showing that they were going to be special players. Speed, great hands and incredible body control were the calling cards of both Green and Massaquoi.

Massaquoi spent four years as a Bulldog, and was part of the 2005 SEC Championship team. He tallied 158 receptions for 2,282 yards and 16 touchdowns, averaging 14.4 yards per catch.

A.J. Green only spent three seasons at Georgia (being suspended for four games in his senior year) and still managed to rack up 166 catches for 2,619 yards and and 23 touchdowns. One of the most special receivers to ever play in Athens, and having just as special of a career in the NFL with Cincinnati.
