Kicker – Blair Walsh (2008-2011)

Blair Walsh was Mr. Clutch when kicking for Georgia, and he put up some outstanding numbers. All totaled, Walsh converted on 184 of 185 PATs and 76 of 103 field goals, and a career-long field goal of 56 yards.

He set the UGA record for PATs made in a career, and consecutive PATs made (119). His 412 career points are an SEC record, and 45 consecutive games kicking at least one field goal are an NCAA record.

Walsh has gone on to a stellar career in the NFL, kicking for the Minnesota Vikings, and even got himself a guest appearance on the hit FX television show, The League.

Still a far cry from Kevin Butler and some of the other Georgia kickers in the 1980s, Walsh and predecessor Billy Bennett were two of the best of the Mark Richt era.
