Defensive Backs – Bacarri Rambo (2009-2012), Thomas Davis (2002-2004)
These are two players from the Georgia secondary who couldn’t have been more different, but both played huge parts in the success of their teams.
Bacarri Rambo was an interception machine, and one of the best ball-hawking free safeties in the SEC, compiling 16 career interceptions, three of which were run back for touchdowns.
Davis, on the other hand, had a reputation (and still does) as one of the most ferocious hitters you’ll ever see, and de-cleated more than his share of opponents during his time as a Bulldog.
Rambo is currently playing for the Buffalo Bills, where he had one of his best seasons as a pro in 2014, and Davis is continuing his stellar career with the Carolina Panthers, despite having several major injuries.
No doubt, coach Pruitt would love to have these two in his secondary today.
