Georgia didn’t pass the ball much last season….and by much I mean, Hutson Mason probably had trouble breaking a sweat in some games.

The Dawgs relied on the run, and with Todd Gurley and Nick Chubb (as well as Sony Michel for a while) back there, why not? Georgia’s pounding, punishing run game was proudly displayed in every game, even in the losses.

New offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer may not have a lot of college experience, but he’s smart enough to not attempt to fix what isn’t broken. He’ll give the ball to those backs plenty of times, and will make sure that the Georgia run game is still what gets the job done.

As long as Schotty doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel, Georgia will be in every game, and will challenge any opponent.
