Loss Number Four – Florida

Final Score: 41-17
Georgia Record Coming In: 4-3
Reimagined Record Coming In: 6-1

Look, we won’t even kid ourselves here. Florida was No. 1 in the nation, and during that stretch of years, they had Georgia’s number.

True, Joe Cox and his three interceptions didn’t help matters, nor did the Bulldogs weak running game of only 121 yards, one fumble and no touchdowns. But would Stafford and Moreno have been able to tilt the scale?

Absolutely. Those four turnovers helped open the flood gates, and it’s hard to imagine Stafford throwing three picks…oh, wait…that’s exactly what he did in 2008 in a 49-10 loss.

Ok, so this one remains as a Georgia loss even with the two stars in the lineup.
