Offense – John Theus, Offensive Tackle

Georgia’s offensive line is one of the strongest in the nation, but that can all change in a hurry and particularly at the left tackle position.

Not only will Theus, the projected starter at LT, be responsible for protecting the blindside of the yet unnamed starting quarterback, but he will also be a huge part of the run game, with the Bulldogs bread and butter play (dating back to the 1970s) being a toss-sweep to the left side.

The big senior tackle has always been dependable and durable, but this season he’s going to be counted on as a leader on the offensive line, and as someone the Bulldogs can ill-afford to lose for any amount of time.
