Defensive Line: Strength – Medium/High

Player to Watch: Trent Thompson

Last year’s defensive line had a few bright moments, but really took it on the chin against teams with strong offensive lines and talented running backs – in particular, Florida and Georgia Tech. Some seasoning for the returning players as well as some impact freshmen should make a lot of difference in 2015.

Incoming 5-star recruit Trent Thompson could prove to be the biggest signee of the year if he can come in and start moving bodies right from the jump. There are still concerns with so much youth and so many untested backups, but there should definitely be an improvement.
