One of the great traditions of college football is making way too early predictions for the upcoming season, and given fall practice hasn’t started yet, I’d say it’s still way too early.

Being a man who loves a good tradition, I’ve decided to share my predictions for how the SEC will play out this season. In this set of predictions, I’m not focused on individual awards or all-conference teams or bowl games, or even the result of the 2015 SEC Championship Game, just everything leading up to it, and specifically, the outcomes of the games leading up to that game.

The previous edition of SEC football was insane, what with all of the upsets, Mississippi State’s leap towards the top, and Missouri clinching the SEC East on Black Friday. Expect this season to be just as wacky, if not wackier.

Before I dive into the predictions, I would like to state a few things. Arkansas will be the surprise team in the SEC this year. This year’s Spurrier Bowl (South Carolina-Florida) will be a fight for a bowl game.  And, Kentucky and Vanderbilt, while they won’t be fighting for an SEC East title, have the potential to ruin other teams’ title hunt. Now, here are the predictions, starting with the SEC West and going in alphabetical order.
