  • I know on paper it seems hugely unlikely. Ole Miss has one of the best defenses in the country, and Florida’s offense is ghastly. But, there’s always upsets, that’s the great thing about college football. You never know when it might happen, but it always ends up happening that the better team just doesn’t win, and that will be the case on the 5th Saturday of the year in the Swamp.

    Ole Miss has the same issue that many other teams have in the SEC: so much talent, but no experience at the quarterback position. Ole Miss also doesn’t get much help at all from their schedule, having to travel to Alabama, Florida, Auburn, and Mississippi State. One more note on the Rebels’ schedule: they have to travel to face a Memphis team that won 10 games last season.

    That could very well be a game that trips up the Rebels this year, but I don’t think they’ll let that happen to them after a loss at Florida.
