No. 1: Isaiah Crowell

Year – 2011
Position – Running Back
Why he’s a bust – Discipline Issues/Dismissed

When Isaiah Crowell, the No. 1 running back in the nation, donned a Georgia cap and held up a white English Bulldog pup on National Signing Day, fans fell in love with the Columbus, Ga. product.

When he stepped in as starting tailback as a true freshman, replacing the Caleb King and Washaun Ealey — who had both left the program — and plowed over South Carolina defenders in his second game, fans really fell in love with him.

But the love affair would soon be over, as Crowell ran into multiple injury and discipline problems, including a gun charge that ended up leading to his dismissal from the program. A kid who could have been one of the great UGA running backs of all time threw it all away.
