No. 10: Dominick Sanders

Year: 2014
Position: Safety
Original Ranking: 3-star, No. 68 S

Although Sanders has only played one season so far, it’s apparent that the Bulldogs are going to get a big return on a small investment.

Sanders stepped in as a true freshman in 2014, with a brand new defensive coordinator as part of a secondary that had been depleted of every single starter except for Damian Swann. He responded by giving Jeremy Pruitt 34 tackles, five passed defended and three interceptions, as well as one half of a sack.

The Georgia secondary ended the season as one of the top five pass defenses in the nation last season, and Sanders was a big part of that success. Not bad for a 3-star kid who wasn’t even expected to suit up last season.
