No. 5: Kelin Johnson

Year: 2004
Position: Safety
Original Ranking: 2-star, No. 111 S

Johnson is one of those stories about a player who was an absolute unknown, barely ranked at all, and turned into a difference-making starter.

He saw spotty playing time in his first two seasons, but in 2006 he came on strong, making 60 tackles (48 solo) and picking off two passes to go along with 2.5 sacks. During his senior season he had another good season, with 49 tackles and four interceptions.

Johnson was one of the fans most beloved players, and is now the associate strength and conditioning coach at Georgia.
