Perhaps the most prolific player that will be in attendance that will compete in this showcase is the 5-Star #1 quarterback of the 2016 class and Georgia commit Jacob Eason. Dawgs fans need no introduction as to who Eason is as he has already made headway among the Georgia coaching staff, the players, and fans alike in Athens. This is especially true given that the University of Georgia wrapped in quarterback mystery as the 2015 college football season quickly approaches.
While there is still much debate going on about this topic, many believe that the issue of who can truly lead the Dawgs to a National championship will come to abrupt halt once Eason is “Between The Hedges”. A look at the gunslinger in action , the most highly rated quarterback commit that the Georgia Bulldogs have had since Matthew Stafford, does not leave much room for doubt that could step in and start immediately as a true freshman.

While Jacob Eason will no doubt show off his cannon during The Opening, another big “Dawg” 5-Star commit will be protecting the defensive Line. Julian Rochester, the nation’s #4 defensive tackle and the state of Georgia’s #2 at the position will be highlighting why he has Georgia defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt and Dawg fans excited about the future.
Rochester is a commanding figure, and scary to those on the offensive side of the ball, coming in at 6-5.5 and 318. He is an absolute beast hailing from McEachern High School out of Powder Springs, Georgia, and will soon help bolster an already upward trending defensive line once he joins 2014’s top player Trenton Thompson in Athens. One can expect to see Rochester make an impact on defense in tonight’s showing of The Opening and can catch an inside glimpse of more what he has to offer in the future below.
