Archer High School wide Receiver Kyle Davis is an exceptional athlete with great hands. He was previously committed to South Carolina but dropped that commitment this past May, opening the flood gates for other powerhouse programs to try to court the recruit. In April he had the opportunity to play catch with UGA commit Jacob Eason and undoubtedly he liked it as he was quoted as saying that “the hype is real” when speaking about the abilities and passing game of Eason.
It is no secret that Georgia needs receivers and adding Davis to the mix would be a home run for the Bulldog football program. Davis recently released his top ten list and lucky for Dawg fans, the Dawgs are in the mix. Davis is rated the 5th overall WR and the 5th overall prospect in the state of Georgia for the 2016 Class per 247Sports.com Composite Rankings. The 247Sports Crystal Ball prediction has him listed as an 87% chance of going to the Bulldogs. This is good news for the “Red and Black,” especially when one considers he visited Athens three times in the month of June.
