Demetris Robinson is a huge talent and one that would make any NCAA coach salivate about possibly obtaining. He made the news with his de-commitment from Alabama this past April but he has not totally shut the door on the Crimson Tide as a possible landing spot though. Nonetheless, other programs including Georgia have been vying to reel in the 4-Star talent out of Savannah Christian Prep (Savannah, Georgia). He did take an unofficial visit to Athens in May which is a positive sign.
However, there is still much of this story to unfold. It is a plus that Robinson has had some collaboration with Dawg commits Jacob Eason and Ben Cleveland along the way, which may in-turn may play a role in whether he decides to commit to Georgia. Robertson is the #1 overall athlete and the 3rd overall prospect in the state of Georgia for the 2016 Class per 247Sports.com Composite Rankings. Teh 247Sports Crystal Ball prediction has him set as a 50% chance of becoming a Bulldog. Again, fingers will have to be kept crossed on acquiring this one.
