Not Enough Bad Behavior

With all due respect, Missouri is too nice. No one from Missouri has gotten in our face and Gator chomped. Rarely has a stuffed Bulldog been pulled behind a car with Missouri bumper stickers.

Missouri fans were kind and gracious to Bulldog fans visiting Columbia for the Tigers’ first ever SEC football game. Likewise, Missouri fans were profuse in their gracious praise of the warm welcome they received in Athens.

Missouri’s Head Coach Gary Pinkel does not make a perfect a fool on the sidelines like Auburn’s Gus Malzahn. There are no vein popping stares like Will Muschamp and no cursing like Paul Johnson. Missouri’s Pinkel refrains from Steve Spurrier style pre-game and post-game trash talk.

And while there was some big talk before the first SEC game between Missouri and Georgia, the Tiger players are sporting.

It’s going to take some bad behavior for Missouri to be a rival, and I’m not sure they have it in them.
