Our Fans Don’t Know Your Fans
We don’t know any Missouri people. There are no pre-game bets between friends over who will sing the other’s fight song while wearing opponent garb. There is no fear of the water cooler after a loss. There is no inherent dislike for distasteful individuals wearing the wrong school colors.
Around here, again, it’s all about family. We have throw back cousins that graduated from Auburn. We have pocket protector adorned nephews attending Tech. We have sons that date white trash Gator girls. But we don’t have family that cheers for Missouri. We don’t even know anyone that went to Missouri.
Shoot, we don’t even know where Missouri is. We just have Delta ready when we are and a car waiting every other year. That’s not enough for a rivalry, Mizzou, and until you can show a bit more, go find another rival.
The Dawgs are not buying.
