Kyle Davis, Archer High School

More from Dawn of the Dawg

The Dawgs have already nailed down a commitment from the biggest wide receiver prize in the 2016 class, Kyle Davis, (6′ 2″, 210).

Playing half an hour away from Athens at Archer High in Lawrenceville, Davis is the best 2016 wide receiver in the country .

Davis caught 63 passes for 1,183 yards and nine touchdowns for Class AAAAAA runner-up Archer last year.

Demetris Robertson, Savannah Christian Academy

Demetris Robertson (6′ 1″, 165 ), rated the top athlete in the nation, plays offense out of the wide receiver position for Savannah Christian Academy. Despite missing the first seven games of 2014 awaiting an eligibility appeal ruling and then playing in a ground-oriented attack, he scored 10 touchdowns on only 34 touches, one on a 75-yard kick return. His college leaders are Alabama, Georgia and Stanford. The Dawgs seem to be the leader, but Robinson insists he is still wide open.

If the Dawgs can add Robertson to the 2016 fold, they will have the best athlete and the best wide receiver in the country in Davis and Robertson to receive passes from the top 2016 quarterback recruit in the country, Jacob Eason.
