Alabama Again Stands At a Pivotal Juncture for Georgia Football

At seemingly every pivotal moment in Georgia football history, Alabama appears. History shows the Dawgs have most often prevailed, but not recent history.

Georgia and Alabama are infrequent football rivals. When the SEC initiated the old six game schedule, Georgia maintained traditional games against Auburn and Florida, but Alabama entered the rotation as an occasional opponent along with Tennessee, LSU and Mississippi State.

Still, at seemingly every pivotal juncture in the modern era of Georgia football, up rises the mighty Crimson Tide to say, “Show us what you got .”
