Saturday, Georgia is again poised for sustained greatness and again Alabama stands in the way. The drama even has a historical twist, with Nick Chubb seeking his 13th 100 yard rushing game and Herschel Walker’s now ancient record – a record no one thought would be broken.

And it may not be.

Chubb and the Georgia offense will face the best front seven in college football with what is acclaimed as the best offensive line running back combination in college football. If Nick Chubb earns another 100 yard game and Georgia wins, which it most assuredly will if Chubb can pull off the trick, it will be one of many break through moments against Alabama for Georgia football.

If not, it will be more cries of “Mark Richt can’t break” through for the Coach with two SEC Championships, five SEC Championship game appearances, a 74 percent winning percentage, and a 12-2 record against Georgia Tech.
