Georgia Football-A Hype Video Must (video)
Mark Richt comes in on a hover board waving an ‘It’s Time To Tee It Up Between The Hedges’ towel with his Georgia Football team herding behind him dancing and singing like Remember The Titans.
The Georgia Football hype videos are the greatest motivational tool the school has ever produced. We all know about the touchdown celebration in Jacksonville where the whole team piled into the end zone following Knowshon Moreno’s touchdown, which sparked a huge victory over Florida.
Then there was the blackout jerseys against Auburn that resulted in the Dawgs single-greatest on-field performance since 1982.

Regardless of those motivational tactics, I have to say these hype videos get me the most pumped. Whoever puts those things together should get a raise.
I must say, though, it is hard to watch these videos after a loss. How do you ‘revive a nation’ following a disappointing performance. I want to clue you into my idea of what would be the greatest hype video for this upcoming game against Florida.
It starts out with the slow-rumbling music with a shot of early-morning dew and dust rising off of the field. Then that deep, powerful voice comes on that pulls everybody in. The words spoken are about redemption from last year and how much this game means to the Bulldog nation.
Following that is the infamous trumpet that signifies unity and the start of the game. Then, the Georgia fans see a completely new direction.
Head coach Mark Richt flies into the stadium alone wearing face paint and football pads. His face looks as if he is sick of losing and he wants to flip the script and handle things himself. He wants to play.

If that image alone does not put fear in the hearts of the opponent then that means they simply have no emotions.
The team comes in shortly behind him in rows of six. They look fierce but just like the Titans of Alexandria, Virginia, they are loose.
Ooooo, ahh, we feel, ooooo, ahh, feel good. Ooooo, ahh, we feel, ooooo, ahh. feel good.
Everywhere we go. People want to know. Who we are. So we tell them. We are the Bulldogs. The mighty, mighty Bulldogs.
The clouds darken as the team meets Richt at the 50-yard line. Huddled together, they listen eagerly to what their Colonel has to say.
“We have been knocked around. People have counted us out. But, let me tell you gentleman that today we have an opportunity. We have an opportunity that not many people in this world get. We get the chance to change everything by our actions. Based on how we perform, we have the great gift of changing the minds of an entire nation. No longer will we succumb to the predetermined notion that we are not tough enough, physical enough, or have enough heart to get to the Promised Land. No longer will we end up at the bottom where everyone believes we should be.”
At that moment, the screen fades to black and the echoes of the great Larry Munson are heard.
“I know I’m asking a lot, you guys, but hunker it down one more time!”
Chills. I am talking about absolute chills.
There is a phrase that is talked about in sports that says, “they were beaten before they even stepped off of the bus.” Show this video to any of those swamp people to the south, and I assure you that the game will be over before it even started.
