GEORGIA FOOTBALL: TOP 30 PLAYERS IN SCHOOL HISTORY

Georgia football is revered as an elite college football program. Transformative players have worn the Red and Black proudly while treading the hallow grounds of Sanford Stadium.
Choosing the thirty best players in program history is a tough ask considering the legends that have called Athens home. Comparing the skill set of Georgia greats from past decades to present is more art than science. But, with a simple criterion, Dawn of the Dawg has ranked the best of the best to every play for the Bulldogs.

These players were chosen based on their personal accolades, the impact they had on the Georgia team during their time at the school and the overall success of the teams they played on (the third criterion was used as a tiebreaker to be named to the top 30 list or to evaluate where a player was ranked on the list).
With this being said, some players selected were not All-Americans, while others benefitted from having longer collegiate careers. There were former players who shined because they were on great teams, and then there were others whose greatness was on display even more because the lack of talent of their Georgia teams. No matter the case, each player was selected for a specific reason. The legends of these great Bulldogs will continue to live on through the current and future players. Their greatness will never be forgotten and their impact will continue to be talked about for many generations to come.
