Saying that Zamir White is extremely talented is an understatement. The 6-1, 202 pound North Carolina native is a five-star prospect and is the No. 1 running back in the 2018 class according to 247sports.com.

White wears No. 34 in high school because he grew up idolizing Bo Jackson. Last season, the Scotland County High School standout had 260 carries for 2,159 yards and 41 touchdowns on the ground with an 8.3 yards per carry average according to Dawgnation.com.

White is the perfect blend of size, elusiveness, and speed. He hits the hole hard and shows off his 4.4  (seconds in the 40-yard dash) speed on his runs.

He had Georgia as one of his favorites under the Mark Richt regime. New head coach Kirby Smart reached out to White to say he was still a priority at UGA. He basically just told him that the running game is still the bread-and-butter of UGA’s offense, and they want White in Athens.

White plans to visit UGA on Thursday, so the coaches hope to further impress him. He reminds many fans of another big time running back from North Carolina. That is Todd Gurley. White seems to have a similar skill set to Gurley. His highlight tape just jumps out to the viewer. You can see his sophomore highlights here:

The 16-year-old still seems to have Georgia at his top school followed by Clemson and North Carolina. The Dawgs hope to get his signature on Signing Day 2018 as Nick Chubb will be gone. At the very least, he will add depth to the UGA backfield in his first year between the hedges.

However, White is the No. 1 running back in the country for a reason. All things point to White being the next great running back in the SEC if he decides to go to Georgia. Whatever happens, White should be a household name for years to come.
