Simply put, Chad Kelly is the best quarterback in the SEC. The former Clemson and junior college quarterback had a breakout season in his first year at Ole Miss last year. The 6-2, 215 pound senior from Buffalo, New York, passed for 4,042 yards and 31 touchdowns with a 65.1 completion percentage last year according to ESPN.com.

Kelly also threw for over 300 yards in eight different games in 2015. Arguably his two most standout performances were in an upset win over the national champion Alabama Crimson Tide and another 302 yard passing performance in a blowout Sugar Bowl win over Oklahoma State.

The strong-armed Kelly is not only a great passer but also has the ability to extend plays with his legs. He is the perfect example of a dual threat.

Georgia will have to play their best game to beat the Rebels this fall. Kelly is the main reason why their task is so difficult.

The SEC has had a downgrade in quarterback play over the last few years. However, there is still plenty of talent and potential across the conference. Georgia will face some of the top signal callers in the Southeastern Conference in 2016, which will make their path to a successful season that much more difficult.
