Nov. 5     at Kentucky

Players to Watch: RB Boom Williams, TE C.J. Conrad, CB Chris Westry

Preview: Ah, Kentucky. Will they ever get over the hump and finally reach a bowl game? They have the talent to, and they better if head coach Mark Stoops wants to keep his job. The Wildcats return nine starters on an experienced offense that includes All-SEC caliber running back Stanley “Boom” Williams, the three leading receivers from last year and four of five starters on the offensive line.

Patrick Towles has left at quarterback for Boston College, and Drew Barker will lead the Wildcats at QB this season. The Kentucky offense also got two new co-offensive coordinators in Eddie Gran and Darin Hinshaw from Cincinnati that will hopefully improve the unit.

The Wildcats lose a lot this year on defense and only returns four starters. The secondary is the strength of the defense led by SEC All-Freshman cornerback Chris Westry and the unit’s returning leading tackler Marcus McWilson (66).

Bottom Line: I don’t think Georgia will have a lot of trouble with this game although they need to be careful. It all depends on how they respond after the Florida loss the week before. I’m thinking they are going to come out angry and determined. Playing in Lexington during November is never a fun thing, but I do not see the Wildcats beating Georgia in this one.

Prediction: Georgia 45-Kentucky 17
