Four players Georgia needs more production from Sunday

2. Jeb Blazevich

Last year Blazevich wasn’t targeted very often because of the offensive system and because of Grayson Lambert not passing the ball well aside from quick passes.

This year quarterback play is much better and tight ends have been used in abundance. So it’s surprising that the junior only has three receptions for 39 yards.

But prior to the Tennessee game the tight ends overall haven’t been targeted very much. That may change after Isaac Nauta’s five catch/83 yard game last week.

Eason also looks completely settled into the speed and overall toughness of the college game. Being the most mature and a part of the Mackey Award watch-list, Blazevich should benefit greatly.

It should be noted that this entry only applies to Blazevich as a receiver, his blocking has been pretty good thus far which is why he continues to get the most playing time among all four tight ends.
