7. 2016 National and SEC Champions

In 2016 the Women’s Swimming and Diving Team won their seventh National Championship. They are one of the best teams in the UGA Athletic Department with 11 SEC Championships and numerous Olympians.

Other teams added SEC Championships to the trophy case in 2016. Men’s golf won their 29th and men’s tennis won their 38th SEC title.
