Normally a 6-2 conference record will have you watching the SEC Championship game from home, but no one else in the conference should finish with less than three losses. Tennessee has to travel to Florida, Kentucky, Missouri and of course Alabama. But they also host LSU.
As for Florida, their inability to maintain the great defense that had under Will Muschamp with their inability to rebuild the offense will likely cause a crash for the team in 2017. Speaking of Muschamp, his Gamecocks will be better than most people would think in 2017, but not good enough yet to make a run at the SEC East.
hat will leave Georgia to go to Atlanta with a 10-2 record overall and a 6-2 conference record to likely play Alabama. But LSU, Texas A&M and Auburn are also possibilities. A win would put Georgia in either the Cotton or Peach Bowl. They may make one of those bowls with a loss, but a trip to the Citus Bowl would be more likely.
