10. Ray Goff

Goff is definetely more fondly remembered as the former quarterback who, alongside Matt Robinson and Kevin McLee, led Georgia to the 1976 SEC Championship.

But 13 years later, Goff was chosen by Vince Dooley to become the new head coach of Georgia football.

Goff only coached at Georgia for seven years before and was fired with a record of 46-34-1. The highlight of his time as head coach was the 1992 season when Georgia went 10-2 and running back Garrison Hearst won the Doak Walker award while finishing third in the voting for the Heisman Trophy.

Goff’s head coaching career ended after the 1995 season.
