The Upside:

Isaiah Wilson is the definition of a mauler when it comes to his play style. Being such a massive man, he strikes you with all the power he has, and throws his weight behind him and pushes until you are flat on your back. He is not afraid of contact, and it’s been speculated he really played down to his competition in high school. Which was the main concern in his recruitment, he was in a very weak high school area. But he did more than hold his own against the best in the nation, and looked better going one on one than in some of his film.

Wilson has really good bend, and does a great job of placing his hands inside the shoulders to avoid holding calls. He also does a great job of finishing his blocks. He should be a good road grading linemen for our tandem of running backs in the near future.
