Top Three

In the last two weekly top 10’s, the top three was pretty easy to put in order. Two weeks ago we talked about running backs and Herschel Walker was clearly number one on that lost. Then considering Frank Sinkwich’s and Charley Trippi’s accomplishments they had to be no. 3 and no. 2.

Last week’s was head coaches. Vince Dooley with 200 wins, six SEC titles and two SEC titles was obviously the best. Mark Richt took second because of win percentage. And then Wally Butts took third with four SEC titles and two National titles.

But this top three is the toughest to put in order so it will be difficult to justify putting one in front of another. And it’s likely that you will disagree with the order that the players are placed in.

Do you put the Heisman finalist in first place? The record shattering quarterback? Or the record shattering wide receiver? So I invite you to comment your thoughts on the top three. The order you would place them in and your justification.
