Georgia has consistently pumped out stud running backs into the National Football League. Knowshon Moreno, Todd Gurley, Keith Marshall, Nick Chubb and Sony Michel have been the most recent star backs to play between the hedges. Chubb and Michel returned for their senior season. Giving them a chance to improve on their own stellar running back careers between the hedges.

It also shouldn’t be forgotten that UGA of course was the home of the man most consider the G.O.A.T of college running backs. Even though its been more than 35 years, Hershel Walker’s legacy stands up to anybody in the annuals of college football. His greatness is still remembered by the current generation of player, even though they never saw him play.
