Ridley is yet to be seen in spring training. After his arrest for marijuana possession the past week, some were wondering if he is being punished and held out by coaches. Instead, it looks like he is recovering from a minor foot injury. Seth Emerson of Dawgnation reported that he has been rehabbing with teammates. There has been no official report from the team on his injury.

Ridley’s recovery and his ultimate success is important for the Dawgs this year. With most of the new wide receivers not arriving until the summer, he is the current receiver most likely to improve. He showed flashes last year, but injury derailed his season several times. If he can move past his mistake this spring and past the injury bug that has plagued him, 2017 could be a big year for him.
