Dominick Sanders vs Terry Godwin

Two more players that have big expectations as well as younger players coming in and pushing them. Dominick Sanders has been a ballhawk in the secondary for the dawgs the past 3 years. However, Freshmen Richard Lecounte III and DeAngelo Gibbs are already pushing the current starters for playing time.

Terry Godwin never had the breakout many were expecting in 2016. In many ways, this was because of Isaiah McKenzie’s production. With him now gone, Godwin will be expected to pick up the slack and become a big part of UGA’s offense. He’s also got competition coming in, with 4 freshmen wide receivers signed in the 2017 class headlined by early enrollee J.J. Holloman. Alongside this, he has cornerback Mecole Hardman, whose electric tools are getting him attention on the offensive side of the ball.
