Everyone knows about Nick Chubb, Sony Michel, Jacob Eason, Lo Carter, and Davin Bellamy. The Georgia Football team has many star players but if it’s going to win the SEC East in 2017, its going to need a few more. Who should fans be looking out for in the upcoming season who they might not have heard of?

5. Roquan Smith

Roquan Smith has been the starting middle linebacker for a year now. And he has played outstandingly well for Georgia, but this season I expect him to have a career year. And be a top linebacker in the country. Smith should continue to be the top tackling linebacker on the team, but I expect his numbers to go up to a top 10 tackler in the SEC.

He has the size and speed to really be all over the field. He is a true sideline to sideline linebacker, but his coverage skills have also improved throughout his sophomore season and coming onto his junior season. If everything goes well for him this year, he should be a top 5 linebacker in the NFL Draft next season.
