Javon Wims finished fifth-best on the team in terms of catching the football. He hauled in 17 catches for 190 yards on the season, which isn’t horrible production for someone who was in his first year out of Junior College. And with the departure of Reggie Davis will only help his case for a breakout year.

Wims is coming into this season as a potential game changer for the Dawgs. Going into his 2nd season with Jacob Eason at quarterback can only benefit him. He should take away a lot of targers for Michael Chigbu in this upcoming season. Wims had a really good year of separating from defensive backs, and he has the size to go get jump balls. He should see a increase in catches and a big increase in touchdowns this season.
