DeAngelo Gibbs hasn’t taken the starting spot at the Star position from Tyrique McGhee at this point. But he will get a long look at that position for the upcoming season when it gets to fall camp. He has the size to cover bigger receivers at the inside spot, and be able to play close to the line of scrimmage. The speed to keep up with speedy wide outs moved to the inside.

Gibbs if/when he claims the starting position will really help shore up Georgia as a elite defense. He should make quite a few plays in coverage, but also make plays in the backfield. He is going to be a real difference maker for Georgia over the next three seasons.
