Charlie Woerner is an athletic freak, at 6’5 250lbs the tight end can still keep pace with most wide receivers. He has been working pretty hard this offseason, and he’s received a bit of praise from Smart so far this spring practice.

Issac Nauta has really made the most of his opportunities since arriving. And I wouldn’t expect Woerner to take over the starting spot from Nauta. But he will take some targets away from him, Woerner and Nauta would be a deadly duo at the tight end position.

They both are outstanding receivers but they have different skill-sets. Woerner should see a increase in production due to the fact he should get more playing time, and Nauta might see a dip in production because of that fact.
