Jamaree Salyer, OG, Georgia

Simply put, Salyer might be the best Guard prospect in recent memory. He has been utterly dominant in his past few seasons at Pace Academy as well as each of the Nike Opening showcases.

Even with all of the talent UGA signed in 2017, Salyer is likely their #1 priority for the 2018 cycle. Players like him do not come along very often. Capable of playing either guard spot, center and even tackle at the next level, he’s just a special player.

In a recent interview with Jeff Sentell of Dawgnation.com, Salyer mentioned that Dawgs OL coach Sam Pittman has been pushing for him to play center. Doing this would mean he could get on the field earlier and perhaps finish off a dominant offensive line at UGA. Salyer is very close to 2017 UGA signee Andrew Thomas but will be very different in terms of recruiting. He intends to visit other schools and wait likely until February before making his decision.
