KJ Henry, DE/OLB, North Carolina

Henry is a wanted player. He has 28 offers including from all  of the top names, Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State etc. Standing at 6-5, 230lbs, Henry looks the part of a devastating pass rusher and could bring those skillsets to the edge at UGA.

He had a highly published visit back in February that seemed to go very well. He visited with fell 5-star Micah Parsons who is a Penn State commit and unlikely to flip to UGA. But Henry has had very positive things to say about Georgia ever since. Despite commanding heavy attention from Clemson, UGA is still in the mix.

He told Robert Judin of Campus Insiders that he’s excited by how he could fit in in Athens. He understands the kind of defense that Kirby Smart is going to build at UGA and that interests him. Smart can always use great pass rushers and will look to rotate them if he has plenty. This gives players like Henry more opportunities to stay fresh and dominant. Something that would help him get on the field more on Sundays in the future.
