Trey Hill, OG, Georgia

The second guard of this group, Hill is another dominant lineman. His thick lower body generates a huge amount of power which is impressive to watch. He showed out at the Nike Opening the other week and looked every inch a top 50 player.

Hill played on the same team as Jake Fromm and its hard to imagine the QB is not in his ear about Georgia. Like Salyer, he also has a great relationship with Pittman who has made them his top 2 targets for 2018. Despite the 2017 class, you can never have enough depth on the lines. Hill’s power and dominance would be a great addition to that group going forward.

Pittman and Smart have a clear philosophy going forward. They are going to recruit and try and win the top 2-3 linemen every year going forward. The plan is simple, be so stacked on the line that they can bully teams in the future no matter what happens. After this, send their protegees to the NFL. That’s a pretty good selling point for most recruits.
