There were a lot of developments coming out of spring training this past week. Some of them good, some not so good. On the plus side, reports from Kirby Smart and others seem to indicate that the offense it outperforming the defense right now. Whether Kirby keeps saying that to try and motivate his defense, who knows, but its a surprising development. The Georgia defense was statistically much better than the offense last year and its interesting to see that flip.

Unfortunatley, Spring training has also claimed the its first injury victims. Chip Towers from Dawgnation reported this weekend that both Dominick Sanders and Solomon Kindley were injured this week. Both were currently starters with Kindley holding the right guard spot right now. Nobody likes to see injuries, especially this early. Fortunately Sanders’ in particular does not seem that serious and there’s still plenty of time for both of them to recover.
